Controller and scope
This page covers cookies and other tools used by the website of NAZCA Italia s.r.l., Santa Croce 396, 34151 Trieste, Italy, VAT and tax number 01386450322. Contact: info@nazcaitalia.it. The framework includes the GDPR, Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian data protection authority’s guidance on cookies and other tracking tools.
Necessary browsing, security and preference storage functions are distinct from optional statistics and performance tools. Prior consent applies to optional tools even where they do not use cookies. Continuing to browse or scrolling a page does not give consent.
Necessary preference storage
The nazca-consent localStorage entry on the visited origin stores a version, date, expiry and necessary, statistics and performance preferences. It contains no name or email. This is technical browser storage rather than a cookie; it remembers both acceptance and refusal and does not require consent for this necessary function.
Both choices are valid for six months. The record is shared between tabs on the same origin, not across browsers or devices. When found invalid or expired, it is removed where storage is accessible; optional tools remain blocked until a new choice. If the browser cannot save the choice, optional measurement stays disabled for the visit.
Visit statistics with Vercel Web Analytics
Provider: Vercel Inc. Purpose: understanding page visits and paths. The tool may process URLs and paths, referrals, event time, browser, operating system, device and country. Its script and collection are blocked until statistics consent.
Vercel states that visitors are distinguished through a request hash and sessions are discarded after 24 hours. Session lifetime is not retention of all statistics or backups. The complete retention period or criterion for statistics remains under contractual verification.
Performance with Vercel Speed Insights
Provider: Vercel Inc. Purpose: measuring page loading, stability and technical performance. Data includes Web Vitals, paths and URLs, technical browser, operating system, device, network and country information, and page element information associated with the metrics. Its script and collection are blocked until performance consent.
The complete period or criterion for performance data and related backups remains under contractual verification. It is not inferred from dashboard access windows alone.
Data reduction and website services
Neither optional tool script loads before consent. Form values are not sent as statistical events; measurement URLs exclude query parameters and fragments, project paths are aggregated and referrer headers are limited to the origin. Web Analytics excludes views with detailed external referrals.
Vercel also provides hosting, page delivery, HTTPS and abuse protection, with server-side technical processing: these necessary services are not optional purposes in the preferences panel. Resend sends form messages from the server and Register hosts the mailbox; these functions add no browser scripts.
GA4/GTM, newsletters, embedded third-party maps or videos and chat are not used. Fonts are served by the website. Tests on nazca-website.vercel.app on 14 October 2026 found no cookies in the seven consent scenarios checked; this does not guarantee absence of cookies in every browser or possible security checks.
Accepting rejecting and customising
The banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Customise. No optional purpose is preselected. Closing the initial banner rejects optional tools; closing preferences without saving leaves the previous choice unchanged. Refusal does not prevent browsing or contact.
Reopen Cookie preferences in the footer or using the button on this page to choose statistics and performance separately. On expiry, an absent or invalid record, or a material purpose change, optional tools remain blocked and a new choice is requested. Where optional measurement processes personal data, the legal basis is consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Withdrawal and browser settings
You may withdraw consent through preferences. Withdrawal blocks sending and reloads the page to remove loaded scripts; unsent form data may be lost. It does not make previous processing unlawful or automatically erase data already received by providers.
Browser site-data settings can remove the technical record; a later visit will require a new choice. Cookie settings alone do not necessarily control tools that do not use cookies. For erasure or other personal data rights requests, email info@nazcaitalia.it.
Providers transfers and updates
The privacy notice describes recipients, transfers and retention. The Vercel DPA applicable to the services used governs processing of customer data on behalf of its customer and mechanisms for transfers outside the European Economic Area. Vercel also acts as controller for certain personal data categories identified in the DPA. Verification of the contractual chain and complete retention periods or criteria for technical data remain incomplete. Prior consent is required for each optional tool.
This version reflects information documented as of 22 October 2026 and will be supplemented with verification results. You may request clarification and exercise rights using the privacy contact.
